Andrew Price was born and raised in Lichfield, Staffordshire.
He began his hairdressing career in 1983 with a Saturday job, becoming a full time apprentice later that year. After 3 years of training he became a senior stylist and then progressed to Art Director and eventually manager of a busy salon in Lichfield.
During his time working in Lichfield, Andrew participated in numerous shows and seminars in various towns and cities including London, Manchester and Newcastle.
While working in the Midlands, Andrew used to visit Tenby on holiday and while there he noticed there was a distinct lack of up-to-date hairdressers. Upon seeing this gap in the market he decided that Tenby would be the ideal place to open his first salon.
His success and detail to excellent customer service provided a stepping stone to open further shops in
Carmarthen in 1989 and 2005, Haverfordwest in 1991, Llanelli in 1999, Swansea in 2000, a Training Academy in 2001, Lampeter in 2008, Cardigan in 2012 and Narberth 2013.
Andrew is unique in his approach to share his success and in doing this, motivates and gives opportunity to all staff to inspire and educate themselves within the company with future possibilities being to acquire their own salon franchised under the group name.
Still working the job, Andrew mentors and give guidance at all times and to make sure the quality of service that the group advocates are paramount at all times, and continues with new innovations.
